Eltham VIC 3095
Call: 131 546
Regularly working in the Eltham area and surrounding Melbourne suburbs
Why did you decide to join Jim’s Pest Control?
We decided to join Jims to expand our business and networks. Also to meet, work with and create some good contacts in the industry. Also the brand name is huge and we thought it would be a good plan for the future.
What are your values?
We work hard and always try to do our best job for every customer. Although in this business not everything can always go the way you want, we always try to fix any issue we come across.
What do you like to do outside of work?
We are all keen at golf so we try to get out as much as possible, not very good at it though. Its a nice change from crawling round under houses all day.
What tips can you give to customers?
Always listen to advice given before and after a professional pest treatment, the tips will help save you from having the pests back in your house for a longer period of time.
What has been one of your most interesting jobs?
It wasn’t the job as much as the place it was at. But we had the opportunity to work at Nintendo Australia a few years back. As a lifelong fan of the Mario brothers, getting to see the behind the scenes of there work in Australia was amazing. Although distracted by our surroundings we quickly conquered there rodent issue.
How has your franchise been for you since joining?
We have met lots of great people through Jim’s and learnt many new work techniques. It has certainly been a challenge over time but after getting used to it is a very rewarding venture.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
As we are currently managing Jim’s Vitoria and also a franchise we hope to expand our role at some stage. Also keep improving our franchise and build it into a more valuable business.
Pest issues that you find in your area and unique content.
Eltham is prevalent with termite activity. Because of our landscape termites can easily travel from home to home. Acknowledging the dangers of termites and being proactive are important for everyone living in the Nillumbik area. There is also a lot of possum, rodent and insect activity due to the bushland and local parks and rivers.
