Why did you decide to join Jim’s Pest Control?
Jim’s is a powerfully recognised international brand synonymous with supplying prompt quality services, therefore joining the Jim’s group gives my business the extra level of professionalism and respect within the community.
What are your values?
Jim’s Pest Control Burleigh prides itself in going out of it’s way to provide a level of service and comfort to customers that seems to be far to uncommon in todays busy world. Stop and talk to the customer to fully understand and feel what their expectations are.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Having kids means being selfless in your own pursuits and actively involved in theirs, so Netball, Rugby League and Oztag have been the main for the last ten years, although I do like to get out with the wife and enjoy the unique Cafe and beach culture that abounds on the Southern Gold Coast.
What tips can you give to customers?
If you think you may have a problem always get professional advise as just having a go yourself can make the problem worse and add to the cost of rectification, if your not sure just ask, that’s why I’m here.
What has been one of your most interesting jobs?
Every job has its own merits, in the Pest Control game there is no such thing as a boring job. Although in saying that Termites are the most fascinating creatures and never seize to amaze me with their ability to infiltrate our homes and places of work almost undetected.
Pest issues that you find in your area and unique content.
Due to its sub tropical climate the Gold Coast has such a diverse range of pest species, Rodents, a large range of venomous Spiders and some that are just a little scary, nuisance Ants, stinging Ants, Ants 50mm long, and the ever present Cockroach. Something that is all to common in this place we call Paradise is termites, home to multiple invasive species including the two most economically important in Australia combined with conducive climate, plenty of bush land and unconventional building practices make Northern NSW and South East Queensland a relative hot spot for Termite activity.
