We understand the distress and discomfort pests can bring into your home, disrupting your peace and potentially causing health issues. Our highly trained technicians are skilled at detecting even the subtlest signs of pest presence, ensuring no area goes unchecked.

Jimboomba began as the Gimboomba pastoral run in 1845 and stayed a small farming and timber town for more than a century. The census counted about 1,000 residents in 1996 and more than 9,500 by 2006, so much of the town's housing went up within a single decade. Brick homes from that period sit beside acreage blocks on the town's edges. Jimboomba also falls within the Greater Flagstone Priority Development Area, and new housing continues to go in around the older streets.
That mix shapes the pest work we do here. A chemical termite barrier has a limited service life, and homes built in the early 2000s are now more than 20 years old. If yours still relies on its original barrier, ask us to check what system is in place and when someone last renewed it. Acreage properties add sheds, stables, water tanks, timber fencing and stored firewood, and each one gives termites, rodents and spiders somewhere to settle. Several creeks run west through the town to the Logan River, and the ground beside them holds moisture long after rain.
Jimboomba is part of our Pest Control Flagstone service area, within the Pest Control Brisbane network.

We inspect the house, identify the termite management system and tell you in writing what we found. If the original barrier has reached the end of its service life, we quote a replacement soil treatment or a baiting and monitoring system to suit the home.
Stock feed, chook pens and hay bring rats and mice. Timber sheds, fence posts and woodpiles feed termites. Tell us about outbuildings when you book and the technician will allow time to treat them with the house.
Damp soil attracts termites and standing water breeds mosquitoes. Our inspections flag drainage and moisture problems around the home. Close to waterways we can use in-ground baiting stations, which need far less chemical than a soil barrier.
Food businesses must keep their premises free of pests. We set up scheduled commercial treatments for cockroaches and rodents and leave a documented service record after each visit for your council health inspection.

We carry out termite inspections to Australian Standard AS 3660.2 for existing homes and AS 4349.3 for pre-purchase inspections. The technician checks the house, slab edge or subfloor, accessible roof void, fences, sheds, stumps and garden timbers. A moisture meter and thermal imaging camera help locate activity a visual check can miss.
You receive a written report listing any termite activity, damage and conditions that attract termites. If the home needs treatment, we recommend a system to suit its construction and site: a chemical soil barrier, an in-ground baiting and monitoring system, or both.
AS 3660.2 recommends an inspection at least once a year. Most home insurance policies exclude termite damage, so the report is also your record when you sell.
The price depends on the size of the home, the pests involved and whether outbuildings need treating. An acreage property with sheds and stables takes longer than a house on a town block. Call 131 546 or request an online quote and your local franchisee will quote the job before any work starts.
Australian Standard AS 3660.2 recommends at least once a year. The standard advises more frequent inspections for higher-risk properties, which includes homes with a history of termite activity, timber outbuildings close to the house or damp ground near a creek.
Yes. Tell us about them when you book so the technician allows enough time. We take care around feed, water troughs and rainwater tanks, and we will tell you how long to keep animals away from treated surfaces.
It can be. Termites travel underground from the nest to several food sources at once, and a fence or stump is often the first one you notice. Leave the area alone, because spraying or breaking the timber open can scatter the termites and make the colony harder to treat. Book an inspection and we will check the house and trace the activity.
We use APVMA-registered products and apply them according to the label. Before starting, the technician explains what is going where and how long to keep children, pets and other animals off treated areas, which is usually until surfaces are dry. Tell us about fish ponds, chook pens, aviaries and stock water so we can plan around them.
Call 131 546 and our Australian call centre will pass your job to the nearest available Jim's franchisee. The Jim's Work Guarantee covers the work: if treated pests return within the warranty period your technician issues, we come back at no extra treatment fee. Terms and conditions apply.
